In "Spoilers of the Wild," Sheena and Bob venture beyond the Grandanga mountains into uncharted jungle territory, where they encounter a tribe of gorillas led by a mysterious white woman named Keela—remarkable not only for her command of the apes but for her surprising skill in combat. As Keela learns English and grows close to Bob, her presence stirs tension with Sheena, whose feelings are complicated by jealousy and the growing danger of the wild. When the two women face off in a fierce hand-to-hand clash, the outcome is sealed by nature itself—Keela plunging into an active volcano as the jungle erupts around them. Sheena and Bob barely escape, fleeing back toward their own world.
