Happy Comics #18 (1947)

Happy Comics #18 is an anthology featuring multiple humorous animal stories. "François Feline" depicts a snobbish Broadway cat who complains bitterly about his shabby accommodations in a junk yard, boasting of his former theatrical fame while confined to a decrepit bed. Another story follows a bear whose boat capsizes at night; after crashing into the water, he attempts to paddle after it but eventually gives up, unable to see or catch the vessel. A third story features a pig and what appears to be a dog or similar character engaged in domestic chaos, with the pig recruiting the other animal for basket-carrying duties and later attempting to carry an elderly woman, ultimately resulting in comedic exhaustion for all involved.
