When Norton is captured by the spy chief Borgu and the inventor Dirck, he must use his wits and combat skills to escape, infiltrate their island base, and stop their plan to raid a gold-laden liner. Caught between the raiders' own destructive inventions and the arrival of Navy reinforcements, Norton races to prevent catastrophe and dismantle the threat to American shipping.
