This anthology issue features two main stories: "Daphne of Galleon Cove Camp," in which schoolgirls Bunty Rayner and Pat Simms take turns cooking at their camp near Galleon House on the Cornish coast, with Bunty preparing an impressive dinner despite initial doubts from her peers. "The Mystery Ballerina" follows Babs Winton as she investigates the kidnapping of star dancer Sandra Marsh by Olga Rambova, discovering that a hidden note concealed in a bouquet of flowers holds the key to rescuing Sandra and exposing the scheme, ultimately leading to a triumphant performance by the ballet company.
