The main serial "Friends of the Gipsy Skater" follows Carol Fenton and her friends as they pursue Rhoda Beverley, who has stolen a valuable packet after a skating competition in Switzerland, chasing her through snowy terrain by sleigh. "Jo's Seaside Adventure" sees Jo attempting to meet Peter Lakin in town with her aunt, though her housekeeper Mrs. Crookes' unexpected arrival complicates her plans. The issue also features "Hetty & Hal in Holland" by Elise Probyn, in which Hetty and Hal rescue their runaway doll Zanie during a storm while on holiday in Holland.
