Girls' Crystal #1,076 is an anthology publication featuring seven picture-stories for schoolgirls. The main stories visible include "The Secret of Bear Glacier," in which Anne Frazer and her friend Paddy Clayton discover a mystery legacy during a Swiss holiday while evading a scheming tourist named Nora Bates who pursues them on a mountain train; and "Kathy—The Camera Girl," by Elise Probyn, in which an aspiring young photographer named Kathy competes with established beach photographer Harold Smith while pursuing her ambitions to work as a professional photographer. The issue also includes a quiz feature, puzzle content, and a "Connie Says" humor strip about a singing student.
