Girls' Crystal #1061 is an anthology featuring three picture-stories. "The Secret of Bear Glacier" follows Anne Fraser and her friend Paddy during a Swiss winter sports holiday, where they secretly enter a ski-jumping contest to prove their abilities. "Carol of the Circus" by Doreen Gray depicts Carol Meldrum, daughter of a circus owner, who becomes entangled in mystery when a fortune-teller's prediction about a horse named Maureen proves troubling, leading Carol to investigate a note and uncover secrets at the circus. "Moira and the Masked Rider" introduces Moira Dane, who has inherited the Oakwood Riding Stables and works to make it a success despite an uphill struggle, facing competition from a rival stable run by Janice Wade.
