An anthology featuring three stories: "The Secret of Bear Glacier," in which Anne Frazer and her friend Paddy pursue a gypsy fortune-teller's cryptic clue about Bear Glacier in Switzerland, discovering a glacier and shadow resembling a bear through a telescope. "Carol of the Circus," by Doreen Gray, follows Carol's efforts to rescue two mistreated chimpanzees named Tuppence and Suzy from a circus by hiding them in an old wagon, eventually reuniting them with their rightful owner John Meldrum. "The Make-Believe Princess" features Deanna Stanley posing as the exiled Princess Zena to help expose a plot against the real princess, leading to an adventure at a farmhouse where she and her allies must recover hidden papers to prove the princess's innocence.
