Girls' Crystal #1032 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Mystery Girl of the Nile" follows Sandra Drake in Egypt, who discovers that a pair of lute brooches contain a secret and races to find them before they are sold on the market. "Carol of the Circus," by Doreen Gray, introduces Carol Meldrum, a girl working with a traveling circus whose elephant Tinker becomes ill; Carol must help nurse the animal back to health while the circus performs. "The Make-Believe Princess" depicts a secretary named Deanna who impersonates Princess Zena to help the Prince Regent identify an impostor, navigating palace intrigue and concealed hiding places to uncover the truth about a jeweled insignia.
