The Dukethe Dope

The Duke and the Dope are broke and looking for free entertainment when they end up at a television studio playing the game show "Truth or Ohh, Brother!"—where one unlucky contestant must answer a barrage of ridiculous questions, and every wrong answer means enduring hilarious (and increasingly chaotic) penalties. As the two fumble through the show's absurd challenges, things escalate from messy food gags to explosive slapstick, and the real fun begins when the tables turn on the host himself. It's a madcap 1950 romp that shows why television was the hottest form of free entertainment for broke cartoon characters.

Gabby GanderPiggyFoxyWise Old Owl

Gabby Gander is terrified by a picture of a dragon in a book, and when Piggy and Foxy overhear his fears, they hatch a plan to cure him of his scariness by deliberately frightening him—over and over—until he gets used to it. As Gabby faces ghost after ghost and skeleton after skeleton, he gradually loses his fear, eventually feeling bold enough to seek out real dangers. But when he returns triumphantly with an actual dragon he's found, his well-meaning friends discover that their "cure" might have worked a little too well.
