Gene Autry Comics #16 (1948)

Gene Autry investigates a murder case when a man named Adam Mills is found dead on Skeleton Mountain, shot in the back. A woman named Augie Larson accuses Autry of the killing, but Autry's friend Dixon helps him prove his innocence by uncovering the real culprit. The story then shifts to a courtroom drama where a judge presides over the case, with testimony revealing that the actual killer was left-handed, and Autry's twin brother Rex becomes a suspect before the truth is finally established, clearing Autry's name.
