In the brutal grind of the Korean War, a weary G.I. patrol is ordered to take a heavily fortified ridge known as Little Horn, knowing it’s just “one more bloody hill” in an endless cycle of sacrifice. Amidst relentless artillery barrages and deadly sniper fire, a terrified new replacement must confront his fear and prove himself—first by surviving a minefield, then by helping clear the way for the next push.
In the freezing Korean river, Corporal Jim Lane and his fellow engineers battle to rebuild a bridge each day, only to have it destroyed each evening by the elusive Red pilot known as "Sundown Sam." As night falls and their progress is shattered by a surprise air attack, the weary soldiers face new threats—including a mortar ambush and a sudden, brutal firefight—while Lane’s quiet strength becomes their last hope.
In the thick of a brutal Korean War battle, two G.I.s find themselves stranded on a treacherous mountain road after veering off course during a sudden fog, unaware they’ve driven straight into enemy territory. With no way to retreat and their truck loaded with high explosives, they devise a desperate plan to turn the vehicle into a deadly booby trap, hoping to take out a nearby enemy sentry post before the fog lifts.
