Film Fun #1585 is an anthology of comic strips featuring film stars. "Every Picture Tells a Story" follows Laurel & Hardy as Stan attempts to entertain the Duchess of Dogsleigh and her pig Olly, leading to chaos when a double-knock at the door interrupts their dinner. "Frank Randle" features the Mancunian comic on a date with Pam Peachley that devolves into mishaps at a local dive café and an all-night dance. "Joe E. Brown" depicts the titular star working at a department store where he becomes entangled with a customer and Sir Eustace Nore's butler. "Abbott & Costello" shows Bud and Lou at the zoo, where they run afoul of a hyena and cause pandemonium with a large ape that escapes and causes further trouble.
