This anthology issue contains three main stories: "Laurel & Hardy" follows Olly and Stan's chaotic beach outing when Uncle Oswald's presence leads to a series of mishaps involving a lost bet, a hippopotamus, and attempted cigar theft. "Mary Hargistry" is a detective story in which a girl claiming to be a detective seeks help from Bob Trotter, a private investigator, regarding a mysterious woman and a burning car incident involving a man named Keen. "Frank Randle" depicts the comedian's misadventures as a hired cook who fails at vegetarian cooking and inadvertently creates chaos at his employer's house, culminating in a horse appearing in the kitchen. "Abbott & Costello" features the duo dealing with sculptor Mr. Choppitt's wax figures coming to life, leading to various comedic situations involving models, a hold-up man, and a model hidden in a tree.
