Film Fun #1,314 is an anthology comic featuring multiple stories. "The Salton House Mystery" stars Jack Keen and includes a Laurel & Hardy segment where Stan must retrieve flowers he promised to a florist, only to get caught up in romantic complications involving three women. "Little Stan Wins on Points" follows Old Olly's mishaps with rubber heels and a bouquet of flowers, culminating in encounters with girlie dancers. "Old Mother Riley" features Lucan & McShane in a tale where Humbert Finch attempts to retrieve his lost valuable ring from a hotel, involving Old Mother Riley and various comic mishaps including a water-filled hoop. "The Great George" depicts George dealing with suspicious crooks at the Soposh Hotel who attempt to steal cash and disrupt the hotel with an infestation of hornets. "Meet the Merry Max Miller: The Cheeky Chappie" concludes the issue with Max Miller in a chaotic adventure involving waxwork figures, a puppy, and various slapstick encounters.
