When Sunset witnesses the violence firsthand and realizes Caven and Elwood plan to eliminate Lanning in cold blood, he's forced to take a stand against the very friend he came to see. On July 4th, 1873, Lin McAdam rides into Dodge City hunting Dutch Henry Brown to settle an old score, but a rifle shooting contest and a stolen Winchester rifle set off a chain of violence that carries the gun—and the feud—across the frontier. As the coveted "one in a thousand" rifle passes from hand to hand through outlaws, gamblers, and gunslingers, Lin must track it down while caught between a cavalry siege and enemies closing in from all sides. This four-page western adaptation pits McAdam against Dutch Henry in a story where a single rifle becomes the prize in a deadly game that only vengeance can finish.

Robert Savini (of Astor Pictures)

This six-foot-four Texan born in the saddle parlayed his extraordinary rodeo skills—honed through bronc-busting, bull-dogging, and roping competitions from childhood—into stardom across two continents. After dominating competitions in his native Texas and the rodeos of South America, Sunset Carson caught the eye of Robert Savini of Astor Pictures, who recognized his natural talent for the screen and signed him to star in action-packed Western features. From the rodeo arena to Hollywood, Carson's fearless riding ability and charisma made him one of the top Western stars in motion pictures.
