Comet #93 is an anthology comic featuring multiple stories: "Shorty the Deputy Sheriff" follows a mischievous horse named Shorty through various comedic misadventures involving a rocking chair, a nose-bag, and ultimately ending up in his owner's bed; "Buck Jones and the Secret of Red Canyon" depicts Buck Jones and Sheriff Nat Jorgens pursuing outlaw Peg-Leg Pete and his gang through Red Canyon after striking gold, with the outlaws being defeated in a climactic battle; "Don Deeds" shows Don Deeds journeying across China to the Rolling Sphere, where a bomb threat from a plane creates chaos and requires rescue; and additional features include "Black Jeremy's Treasure," "Sammy Shuteye and the Show Winner," and various other comic strips and a "Gallery of Stars" photo section.
