This anthology issue contains four stories: "Scamp," a humorous tale about a mischievous red puppy who meets a black kitten named Kitty and through various misadventures eventually befriends her; "Splash Page and the Grey Rocket," featuring reporter Tony Marsh and the Crock's plane crash-landing, after which Splash must pursue the Crocks on motorcycles and retrieve stolen goods while they attempt to reach their headquarters; "Buck Jones and the Wild Girl of the Hills," in which the outlaw Hetty, living under suspicion in the hills, is framed for a robbery by the bandit Eli and must evade capture before Buck Jones can help clear her name; and "Don Deeds," wherein the bandit Ah Lee plots to impersonate the rightful Emperor and seize power, but is thwarted by Don Deeds. The issue also includes "Billy Bunter's Fiver," a text story about a schoolboy's misadventure involving money.
