The Americans Who Forgot
12 pp · adventure

When a defeatist movement spreads through the aircraft factory town of Biddleville, Captain Midnight goes undercover to uncover who's behind the push for a negotiated peace—and discovers the saboteurs are closer to home than he expected. As production plummets and anti-war sentiment grips the workers, Captain Albright and Icky must expose the conspiracy before the town's next election puts dangerous voices in power. This 1944 adventure pits the hero against an enemy that trades in propaganda and doubt rather than bullets.

Sergeant Twilight Meets Great Caesar's Ghost!
7 pp · superhero

Sergeant Twilight's evening stroll at a Midwest university turns urgent when he hears screams from the campus theatre—only to discover a man in a Caesar costume wielding a very real lion. After rescuing the girl, Sergeant Twilight soon realizes the chaos is no accident: Professor Harris is part of a Nazi plot to sabotage Captain Albright's animal experiments, using the lion as cover for their scheme. With Captain Midnight arriving unexpectedly on the scene, the two heroes must quickly untangle the plot and outpace the saboteurs before their treacherous plan reaches its endgame.

The Wolf of the Wasps
8 pp · adventure

When a W.A.S.P. pilot crashes under mysterious circumstances, Captain Midnight discovers the wreck contains traces of poison gas—pointing to sabotage, not accident. Captain Albright goes undercover as a new recruit to infiltrate the ferry base and uncover who's behind a deadly scheme targeting the women pilots, with a wealthy local benefactor looking increasingly suspicious. As Joyce flies her first dangerous mission, Captain Midnight races to stop a killer who's found a deadly way to strike from the sky.

The Plane That Wouldn't Stay Down
9 pp · adventure

Captain Albright's revolutionary beryllium aircraft—so light it floats like a balloon—is stolen by Japanese spies at an Allied airbase in India, leaving Captain Midnight trapped aboard with his enemies as the plane drifts uncontrollably over the Himalayas. Forced to work together against the elements, the unlikely crew must survive in the clouds, but when they finally land on a remote mountain peak, they discover a secret Japanese invasion force using the range to attack India—and Captain Midnight is taken prisoner. With only his wits and his secret belt knife, he must find a way to stop the invasion and warn the Allies before the enemy seizes his extraordinary invention.
