Captain Justice confronts the bushranger Gardiner and his gang, who plan to hold up the Cobb & Co. stagecoach when it arrives in town. After a shootout, Justice captures Squint Malone, one of the outlaws, and puts him behind bars. Lance Harwood, a newspaper reporter, arrives in the quiet town hoping for a peaceful rest but finds himself drawn into the action as the bushrangers attempt to cause trouble, leading to further conflict between Justice and the outlaws.
