Candy #50 (1954)

Candy meets Ted Dawson at a new girl's house and they become acquainted, leading to a series of comedic misadventures. In one storyline, Candy and her friend attempt to catch a butterfly using a net, accidentally disturbing Mr. Bugaboo who is reading, resulting in slapstick chaos. In another story titled "The Fourth Estate," Candy learns that a boy named Taffy has been made editor of the school paper and is given an executive position with the Centerville Courier, prompting romantic complications when he suggests taking her to dinner instead of an article about local restaurants.
