Candy #31 (1952)

Candy becomes entangled in a scheme involving a wealthy man and a forged check when she helps Mrs. Mahoulahan con him into signing a fraudulent document. After the plan backfires, Candy's father ends up dealing with the consequences, suffering from a terrible headache that Candy attempts to cure with soothing music played on a phonograph. The story progresses through various comedic misadventures centered around Candy's well-intentioned but chaotic meddling in adult affairs.
