# Buster Brown Comic Book #33 This issue contains multiple stories. One narrative follows a family surviving a shipwreck who miraculously remain afloat and eventually find themselves on a deserted deck, where they must carefully navigate their precarious situation with hope of rescue. Another story features Smilin' Ed McConnell and the Buster Brown Gang visiting Santa Claus Land, where Santa welcomes them to his workshop equipped with atomic-powered machinery that runs twenty-four hours a day year-round to manufacture toys. A third story involves characters in a jungle setting attempting to capture an elephant by using a rope to catch it near a herd, with one character named Gunga planning a strategy involving a keddah and discussion of the animal's scent.
