The Bumper Comic Book #6 is an anthology featuring the main story "Jumbo and the Jungle Boys' Moon Rocket," in which Jumbo and his friends build a rocket ship and travel to the planet Mars, where they land on soft fungi and are greeted by friendly Martians and their king, who gives them a gift before they return to Earth. The issue also includes several puzzle and quiz sections: a "Picture Quiz" with five illustrated questions about landmarks and historical items, "The Torn Label Parcels" word puzzle, "Jumbled Book Titles," "Pairing Off" word game, and an "ABC of General Knowledge" educational feature with accompanying quiz questions. Additional content includes the comic strip "How's That, Jumbo!" depicting Jumbo's cricket mishaps and "Jumbo Shoots an Arrow," where Jumbo attempts to teach arrow-shooting but accidentally hits Percy Porker.
