# Bubbles #500 This anniversary issue is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Snowball Finds a Quick Way of Tidying Up the Lawn, But It Ends in a Big Bang!" depicts Snowball attempting to use a large bag as a makeshift leaf collector, which ultimately bursts and scatters leaves everywhere. "In Red Man's Land: An Exciting Serial of the Wild West Prairies!" follows Eric Howard and Tim Pepper as they encounter wolves threatening a baby elk while traveling through dangerous prairie terrain. "Under King Alfred's Banner: An Exciting Old-Time Story of Saxon and Dane" chronicles Edmund and other characters' adventures involving fishing lines, a whirlpool, and rescue efforts at sea. The issue also includes "Blackie, Tabby, and Pops—Three Comical Kittens," puzzle activities, and reader correspondence in "The Editors' Corner."
