Blazing West #1 (1948)

A man named Barton finds himself in quicksand while being pursued, but is rescued by a cowboy named Tenderfoot who pulls him out. Barton uses this opportunity to escape to a wild stallion and plans to return to the ranch to save Margie, betting he can capture the wild stallion to make the journey. Later, Barton encounters a group of comic relief villains disguised as cowboys whom he outwits, ultimately rescuing Margie and the others from their clutches.
