This is an anthology romance comic containing multiple stories. "Love by Television" features a young woman named Betty whose mustard-stained dress ruins her chances at an audition, leading her to pursue acting alongside her steady boyfriend instead. "I Paid for My Desire" tells of a woman who, desperate to escape her mundane life and devoted but boring boyfriend Ted, pursues a glamorous movie star named Bud at a party and dance, only to realize the consequences of her infidelity. "Opening Night" follows Laura, whose father orders an orchestra for her party, and features her scheme to separate her rival Chick from his date by dancing with him and luring him away to a hidden cove, though the narrative appears to continue beyond the visible pages.
