The Man-Eating Idol
7 pp · War

A squad of Marines on isolated Sky Island must contend with far more than enemy artillery—a mysterious idol that seems to be aiding the surrounding Red forces has already claimed one of their own. When replacements Monty, Tex, and Canarsie arrive to relieve the beleaguered garrison, they discover the statue isn't just a superstition, but an active threat that demands a dangerous plan to neutralize it. With Cpl. Hank Garrett's fate hanging in the balance and enemy spies using the idol to coordinate their attacks, the leathernecks face their strangest—and deadliest—objective yet.

Kangaroo Court
7 pp · War

When a riot erupts at a prisoner-of-war camp, guards Monty, Tex, and Canarsie find themselves caught in the middle—and Tex is dragged away by rebellious prisoners led by the ruthless Yi Ling. With a brutal "kangaroo court" about to pronounce sentence at dawn, the three soldiers must infiltrate the compound and outmaneuver Ling's grip on the camp before time runs out. It's a tense struggle against a cunning enemy who's learned to weaponize fear and propaganda from within the prison walls.

Marine Saves White Horse Hill
8 pp · War
Trojan Camel
6 pp · War

Two Marines named Spike and Bat hatch a plan to slip past a tribe of hillmen blocking their unit's advance through a valley: they'll build a wooden camel inspired by the legendary Trojan Horse, hide inside it, and count on the hillmen's reverence for camels to wheel them into town for a peaceful parley with the tribal leader. The scheme works all too well—but not quite the way they'd hoped, when the camel ends up in the most unexpected place imaginable.
