A decorated U.S. Air Force officer, Carol Danvers gained superhuman abilities after an explosion fused her DNA with that of Kree warrior Mar-Vell, granting her incredible strength, flight, energy projection, and a precognitive seventh sense. She later channeled these powers as Ms. Marvel and beyond.
