Rex Tyler, a brilliant chemist, discovered a remarkable compound he called Miraclo — a pill that granted him superhuman strength, speed, and stamina for exactly one hour. Donning a colorful costume, he became Hourman, one of DC's earliest mystery men and a founding member of the Justice Society of America.
