The Beetle Legacy

Abner Jenkins was a bored mechanic who stumbled upon an alien beetle carapace and reverse-engineered it into a suit of armored wings and pincers, becoming the original Beetle — a small-time criminal who repeatedly clashed with Spider-Man and the Human Torch.

Janice Lincoln is the daughter of the Beetle (Tombstone's enforcer turned villain) who followed an unconventional dual path, becoming both a sharp criminal-defense attorney and a costumed thief who eventually took up her father's Beetle identity and carved out her own place in Marvel's underworld.
