Zorro 58 - Fred the Coward #1

Zorro pursues a gang of coach robbers led by men named Harry Broom and Johnnie, engaging them in a mountain confrontation where he forces them to surrender their weapons and submit to the sheriff. When one of the robbers threatens to expose them, Zorro ensures their silence by warning of fatal consequences if they talk. Fred, a cowardly witness who observed the entire encounter, becomes crucial to the investigation as the sheriff plans to trail the wrong coach, leading Zorro to set a signal summoning a posse. The plundered coach subsequently crashes into a river, and after recovering the money, the posse pursues the robbers across the border toward safety, though Zorro moves to intercept them before they escape.
