Zoot Comics #5 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "The Three Bears" depicts Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and a character named Harry frequenting the popular Bear Down nightclub on the turnpike, where the bears perform as hep musicians and dancers. Another story involves Percy, a boy, visiting Houlihan Haunted House where he encounters George the Ghost and Sam Skeleton; George sadly recounts his past as a successful invisible circus magician who became visible and lost his appeal, ultimately ending up as a broken haunt that Percy takes under his wing. A third featured story shows comic mishaps at a Swiss restaurant where a waiter in funny pants causes confusion and musical chaos among the dining patrons.
