Zegra contains two stories: "Jungle Empress" follows Zegra as she struggles to protect a downed airplane passenger named Paxton from a rogue elephant and jungle dangers while trying to spare herself and the man from a grisly fate, ultimately delivering the injured man to safety and her people. In a second story, Miss Trent flees civilization for Africa after being caught in a compromising situation, adopting the jungle alias "Zegra," only to be pursued by her former fiancé Larry Gains, who tracks her down determined to expose her secret and claim her as his own.
