This volume continues the Yu-Gi-Oh! R storyline, a spin-off set during the original series' gap between Battle City and the Pharaoh's memories. It collects the second half of the arc, where Yugi and his friends face off against the villainous Marik Ishtar's dark counterpart and his minions in high-stakes Shadow Games. The book compiles chapters from the manga series by Akira Ito, originally published in Japan and released in English by Viz Media in 2009.
