Youthful Romances #17 [3]
"One-Sided Love" in Youthful Romances #17 (1953) captures a moment of quiet reckoning in the life of Lily, a new girl navigating the delicate social currents of high school. As her reputation as a flirt grows, a tragic incident forces her to confront the real impact of her actions, leading to a sudden move and a heartfelt vow to change. Anthony Tallarico handles both pencils and inks with a delicate touch, while William Zeller’s cover captures the story’s emotional tension in a single, telling moment.
