Bank teller Elsa falls in love with Karl, then learns he’s a gambler and unfaithful. He says he’ll marry Elsa if she loans him $5,000 for a business deal. She “borrows” the money from her bank then learns Karl plans to skip town with the cash and his other girlfriend. Elsa returns the money instead, and six months later meets “the right man.”
