Carny sharpster Cass sets his sights on Dora, the niece of wealthy Elizabeth Hartley. He takes a menial job at their house and romances Dora. When his partner Belle shows up, Cass says he really loves Dora and is going straight. He decides to leave rather than give in to Belle’s blackmail, but Aunt Elizabeth says she was aware of his scheme from the beginning. However, she felt Cass could become a good person. Belle is run out of town by the sheriff and Cass will marry Dora.
