“How Dicky Dauntless Became Young Marvelman”

Dicky Dauntless of the Transatlantic Messenger Service has a chance meeting with Marvelman. Marvelman explains that he is after a couple of thugs who are out to get Hiram Steele. Coincidentally, Dicky has a cable for Steele, so he tells Marvelman that he'll deliver it and warn him. After Marvelman and Dicky save Steele, Steele reads the cable and asks Marvelman for his help. Dicky says that he wishes he could help too. Marvelman gets an idea. He summons Guntag Barghelt, who gives Dicky a potion to drink. He tells Dicky that whenever he needs his powers, simply shout the name of "Marvelman".
