# Young Marriage #1 The issue contains two stories. In the first, a woman named Daly warns her father to keep away from her daughter, revealing she knows he is a dangerous man. After witnessing two men fight to the death, Daly hides and overhears a conversation revealing the man being held for murder is innocent and killed in self-defense; she must decide whether to reveal this secret and save an innocent man or protect her family's reputation. The second story follows Jane and Johnny, newlyweds who face conflict when Johnny wants to build boats and pursue his passion despite Jane's desire for him to maintain his executive position in the city; ultimately, Johnny convinces Jane that their love and life together matter more than either career ambition or material success.
