This anthology issue contains two detective stories. "Toni Gayle" follows the titular character at an Acapulco West Coast Playground of Mexico, where she encounters a man named Biff Muggson who attempts to rob the American Consul; Toni uses her wits to thwart his plan and outwit him. "Inspector Klooz" features the bumbling detective on a hunting expedition in the north woods where he searches for a bluebird, but becomes entangled in a scheme involving counterfeit diamonds hidden in false teeth, ultimately leading to the arrest of a criminal count and his gang.
