Young Eagle #9

"The Great Railroad Swindle" features Young Eagle reporting to Colonel Scott about ranchers being swindled out of thirty thousand dollars over the past weeks by criminals using a railroad route through the territory. Young Eagle and a lieutenant scout the trail to track down the perpetrators, discovering that a gang led by a man named Deuce has taken over an abandoned ghost town and slag piles near an old smelter. Deuce plans to use the location as headquarters for their criminal operation, but Young Eagle works to expose and stop the gang's scheme before they can continue their railroad fraud.
