Sage begins to unravel the mystery of Destiny's Diary. Gambit is accused of murdering the Viceroy (the head of the Triad in Sydney). Rogue catches up to Gambit in a bar in Sydney's Chinatown where their powers are stripped and both are captured for the murder of Gow Yang (another underworld figure) by his super-powered grandson and his chief interrogator.
