“Schism”

In "Schism," Chris Claremont and Salvador Larroca deliver a tense, character-driven chapter as the X-Treme X-Men and the White Queen storm the Danger Room to rescue Xavier’s students from Bogan and his Hellfire allies. With Bogan defeated and a controversial decision looming, Professor X’s choice to take in the troubled Jeffrey fractures the team—leaving Storm deeply conflicted and the X-Treme X-Men walking away from the mansion once more. The issue’s emotional weight is matched by Larroca’s dynamic art and Liquid!’s vivid colors, all framed by a striking cover by Larroca.

The X-Treme team and the White Queen invade the danger room to face down Bogan and his Hellfire cronies who are holding Xavier's students captive. After Bogan is defeated, Xavier agrees to harbor Jeffrey at the Mansion. This decision leaves Storm (who thinks the young boy should face justice for the murders he committed) at odds with Professor X's ideals and the X-Treme team leave the X-Men once again.
