In 1930s Paris, orphaned Hugo survives in the shadows of a train station, keeping its clocks running in secret. When he’s caught stealing from a toymaker’s stall, he’s forced to work off his debt, quietly repairing broken toys and slowly finding a place in the toymaker’s household. As he nears completion on his father’s unfinished automaton, the machine begins to draw a scene from a forgotten film—hinting at a mystery tied to the legendary Georges Méliès.

In "Втора част," the children uncover hidden sketches that reveal their father, Papa Georges, was once the legendary silent filmmaker Georges Méliès. With him gravely ill, they take over the toy stall to earn money for medicine and reach out to the Film Academy. When scholars learn Méliès is still alive, they rally to honor his forgotten legacy, leading to a heartfelt celebration of his visionary work.
