X-Men: Manifest Destiny #3
In "Kill or Cure Part 3," Beast delves into the mystery of Jonas’s powers and past, uncovering unsettling gaps in what he knows. Meanwhile, Jonas shares a quiet, revealing moment with a hidden companion—Anole—whose presence hints at more than just a rescue mission. Written by Marc Guggenheim and brought to life by Yanick Paquette with inks by Serge LaPointe, colors by Nathan Fairbairn, and letters by Joe Caramagna, the issue’s emotional weight is matched by its sharp storytelling. Humberto Ramos delivers the cover, capturing the tension with precision.

Beast records his analysis of Jonas's abilities and what he's pieced together of his past. Meanwhile Jonas talks to someone we cannot see about what caused him to be buried alive. While Beast cannot figure out how Jonas could have been buried for what he was if his mutation had not yet manifested, we see from Jonas's conversation with the other person, who turns out to be Anole, that he is gay.
