Rogue must decide if she should stay on Utopia with Cyclops' strike force group of mutants and continue her relationship with Magneto, or whether she should go to Westchester with Wolverine to help teach the next generation of X-Men. But before she can decide, a touch from Magneto reveals that he and other mutants on Utopia have an energy signature implying that there is an additional mutant in their mists. Rogue touches the individuals concerned, absorbing the energy into a single form inside her which opens a portal revealing a tortured Ariel caught in a a flaming dimension.
