Norman Osborn's augmentation of Weapon Omega's power-absorption has left him a ticking time-bomb of mutant energy. Although his previous membership of Osborn's Dark X-Men leaves some of the X-Men hesitant to help him, Beast and Rogue decide to help him. However, instead of dispersing the energy between Rogue, Mimic, and Weapon Omega, the power instead turns all three of them into an explosion waiting to happen.
