“Walkthrough Part 1 of 2”

In "Walkthrough Part 1 of 2," Mike Carey crafts a tense, introspective chapter as Xavier’s mental summons sends Cyclops into a storm of frustration—especially after his unsettling experience inside Mr. Sinister’s mind. Meanwhile, Rogue seeks quiet in the abandoned Australian Outback base, and Sebastian Shaw stirs the Hellfire Club toward a long-dormant resurgence. Scot Eaton, Marco Checchetto, and Andrew Hennessy deliver sharp, atmospheric art, while Ken Lashley’s cover captures the weight of secrets in motion.

Xavier mentally influences Cyclops to come meet him in a secluded spot, which angers Scott. He is angrier still when Xavier wants to probe him as a result of what he learned sharing Mr. Sinister's mind. Meanwhile, Rogue returns to the deseted Australian Outback town that the X-Men used as a base for a while in order to get solitude and sort things out, and Sebastian Shaw prods the Hellfire Club towards re-establishing itself along its traditional lines.
