The X-Men visit Morph who is performing in a play but Mr. Sinister and the Nasty Boys show up to battle them and they capture Jean. Xavier and Magneto (who have been walking around in the Savage Land for most of this entire series) are assaulted by the Savage Land mutates and captured. Sinister, who has allied himself with Brainchild and the mutates, shows up with Jean. Jean looks on in horror as Sauron mind controls Xavier. The X-Men, guided by Cerebro, attempt to catch up.
